Owner, Charles 'Chuck' Hambly founded Excel Epoxy in 1995 to fulfill his long-time ambition of converting his education, construction experience, management skills, and reputation into his own company aimed at brand equity and growing market share. Chuck holds a Construction Engineering Technologist (CET) diploma from Conestoga College, Kitchener, Ontario. In all, Chuck has compiled over twenty-five (25) years of experience in new and retrofit construction 

 

 

 

 

 



with the last twenty (20 +) years directly related to supplying, installing / applying epoxy and urethane floor coatings along with wall and containment finishes for multi-national polymer manufacturers.

 

In keeping with Excel Epoxy’s mission statement to be the "best value-based & reliable supplier of polymer finishes" to builders and managers of Industrial, Commercial and Institutional facilities, the company has directed much attention to quality and value for its customers. Previous years’ performance has resulted in repeat-sales for all sizes of customers from small privately owned businesses to some of the world’s largest organizations.

 

Excel Epoxy’s application team is fully trained, fully insured, adheres to all safety measures and is qualified to install several national product brands. This provides the company with the opportunity to meet more customer needs than a single brand may allow; plus, the company is able to mitigate potential sourcing problems. Dependent upon the confines of the client's cost parameters, Excel Epoxy is fully capable of rendering its services local to the greater Ontario area (GTA) or ‘where-ever’ required (all Canadian Provinces) based upon the needs, desires and cost parameters of each customer.​
